Jenny is passionate about encouraging and motivating others to achieve their leadership vision. She does this by helping the leader to clarify where his or her growing edge lies, and then working together to set related focuses for the coaching or consulting work. Her approach combines an understanding of business realities with the reflective and empathic stance of a clinical practitioner.
When working with leaders, Jenny has a strong belief in the power of active listening and focused conversation to stimulate and transform. This is combined with clear goal-setting and envisioning the future, ensuring always that outcomes are measurable.
Jenny brings to her consulting practice thirteen years of senior leadership in a healthcare organisation. She led EMEA Operations for seven years during a time of rapid worldwide expansion, liaising with customers and assuring the quality of service delivery. Jenny’s role required her to build strong relationships with both public and private sector organisations. As a result, she now works with leaders in both sectors in a coaching and consulting capacity.
In 2009, Jenny moved to the role of ‘Head of Clinical and Service Development’, where she created a comprehensive governance structure, co-developed a European provider network, as well as authoring and implementing a range of new services. She also participated fully in the sales and implementation process with large global corporates in Asia, the US and Europe. In addition, she offered guidance, mentoring and training across the global reach of the organisation, including a period managing the China team as well as regular assignments in India and the US.
In his coaching and consulting work, Jonathan’s particular interest is in helping people to overcome obstacles to success in their leading and management practice. He has a warm and empathic manner, as well as a natural ability to encourage and motivate. Jonathan asks open questions to help his clients get to the heart of identified issues and to release their creativity.
Jonathan brings to his consulting practice extensive Board-level experience across a range of organisations in the agricultural and market research sectors. These include rapidly growing start-up businesses and large global companies. He has an excellent understanding of the cross-cultural dimensions of service delivery as well as the challenges of managing remote teams across different countries.
In 2002, together with five co-directors, Jonathan was involved in setting up a new specialist market research company focussed on agriculture. The business grew rapidly with two acquisitions in the first five years. In 2009, the company was sold to a large, global market research organisation. Jonathan continued to work for the organisation in his role as Director for Asia of the agriculture team, building on almost two decades of experience of leading sales and service delivery in China, Malaysia and Japan, both remotely and in-country.
